Ivan 23 November, Finally I fixed the touchpad problem which had arisen after the windows 10 upgrade. When I first got it, it came with windows 7 and the touchpad was highly erratic. I have now installed atk 1. Ivan 27 August, Nagdy 8 May, So recently I just re-install my Windows 10 and suddenly Asus Smart Gesture stopped working It worked before in Winpro Everytime I install Asus Smart Gesture and restarting my laptop, my touchpad and keyboard stop working.
Please help me, Gabor from Hungary. Daisy 7 December, When I connect USB mice the touchpad would disable automatically. I would readily recommend everyone with similar problems to crivers this site.
I tried quite a few other methods listed on many different sites, and this was the only solution that worked for me.

Jay A Clark 28 August, Beneath it, add this text:. Jon, as the previous comments says, you can turn off the touchpad in the BIOS. Ivan 17 February, Elan is showing though. Jason 7 October, So, you should still install Smart Gesture.
Loe 2 May, That concluded my hour-long frustration of rage-searching on the web for a solution after W10 latest update that ruined it. VS 17 February, Smart Gesture appeared on the task bar and I was able to specify the auto mouse detection.

After some discussion, ASUS acknowledged the hardware issue and replaced the touch-pad.
